openSUSE Compiz and Compiz Fusion packages updated

Compiz and all the related applications in X11:XGL repository are now at 0.6.9_git071205

What’s new/improved since last release:

* Improved ccsm GUI

* 3D plugin is back

* Green default Emerald theme

* Many bug fixes and performance improvements as always

* More translations

openSUSE 10.3 1-click installers:

compiz-fusion-kde

compiz-fusion-gnome

compiz-fusion-all

compiz-fusion-devel to build experimental plugins

    Both versions are almost identical, except the one in home:cyberorg has all the extra/experimental plugins.

    It will get updated eventually :)

    Thanks for the info.. but i am trying to find the Screen saver plugin and it doesn’t seam to be part of any of the rpms. Where can i get that?

    Screensaver and other experimental plugins are in home:cyberorg repo, use 1-click, that repo is meant for developers and people who know what they are doing in case something breaks ;)

    Does opensuse stop pakaging compiz for 10.2?couse it seems that the repo isn’t updated.

    Yes, I’ve stopped packaging for 10.2, as newer compiz will no longer be able to build on it. You’d be happier with 10.3 :)
