Just finished mid-term evaluation of the Easy-LTSP, openSUSE’s Google Summer of Code project.

The project is doing quite well, although Jan does not engage the community by posting on ML, discussing with users and developers on the IRC frequently as much as I would have liked, he has done a remarkable job in such a short time.

Everything is fully automated and no manual configuration is required in most cases in LTSP5 environment, but when you need to change something, the easy way to do any of the “tasks” required by users was missing. Not anymore with Easy-LTSP GUI
